Before we maintain a home, we document it. The Home Record is a written account of your whole house: 121 checks across 12 stations, every major system photographed, measured and graded, with a price to fix what we find, or a licensed contractor's quote where the work is theirs. Most home services leave you with an invoice. This leaves you with a document, and the document is yours. Here is what one finding out of a hundred and twenty-one looks like.

MEASURED: The label reads manufactured 2013. A smoke alarm is rated for ten years from that date.
IF IGNORED: An old sensor can pass the button test and still be slow to notice smoke.
THE FIX: Replace the alarm, test it and date-label it. $95 added to any visit, or $75 for members. It is on the published price list.
